Carrying Basket

It is unwise to bring your cat into a strange environment without the security of a suitable cat carrier. Cats without the appropriate carriage will not be accepted into the cattery.

Health 

Owners must normally produce an up to date vaccination certificate on arrival that will be retained by us during your cats stay.  However as a result of Covid we are now requesting, if possible, that a photo of the vaccination is instead emailed to us at least a few days before arrival. All cats must be vaccinated against FELINE INFECTIOUS ENTERITIS and UPPER RESPIRATORY TRACT INFECTIONS (cat flu). If your cat is allowed outdoors you are strongly recommended to have a LEUKAEMIA vaccination, but this is not a compulsory requirement for boarding your cat with us.

No cat suffering from, or suspected to be suffering from any infectious or contagious disease can be accepted.

All cats will be examined on arrival and the proprietor reserves the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of illness pending advice from a veterinary surgeon.

Veterinary attendance is assured, should this prove to be necessary.

Any medication, previously prescribed, can normally be continued during your cats stay.

Male cats over the age of 7months must be neutered before being allowed to board with us.

Bookings

Definite bookings should be made as early as possible. E-mail is the preferred method of communication.

Terms 

A full day’s board is charged for the day of arrival and the day of departure. This is to allow for the essential disinfecting and preparation of the chalet.

For stays of indefinite duration, 21 days notice of departure is required between 1st April and 30th September.

Full payment of boarding fees is due at least 2 days before drop-off. However in the case of long term boarders, accounts will be paid monthly.

In the event of owners arriving late (next day)an extra day’s boarding will be due. For owners returning early from holiday the FULL PERIOD for which the cat is booked will be charged.

If a booking is changed or cancelled with less than 14 days’ notice from the start date of the original stay then a cancellation fee equal to the full cost of the intended stay will be charged.

Please note that over the Christmas, Easter and New Year period(s) a minimum stay of 5 days boarding will be charged. 

Fees can only be paid by bank transfer (preferably) or cheque (we do not have the facilities to process debit or credit cards).

Opening Times

To ensure social distancing, all customers must book a 15-minute visiting slot to drop-off and pick-up.

Mon-Fri:                              9.30am – 12.00 noon and 3.00pm – 5.00pm

Sat:                                   10.00am – 12.00 noon and 3.oopm – 5.00pm

Sun:                                  10.00am – 12.00 noon

Bank Holidays:                   10.00am – 12.00 noon 

Closed:                              Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

Please note we are strictly unable to trade outside the above hours.
